The Question

My mom mentioned to me that she found this site where you can sell your art and stuff. She was suggesting I look into that. It kind of got me thinking about commissions. I honestly don't feel that my abilities are quite where I want them, but I figure I've got to start somewhere and at some point in time. To me it would be interesting to give it a whack and see what happens.

My Question Is: How many people would be interested in commissioning me (did I even say that right?) and if you are interested, how much would you be willing to pay?

The Updates

My family and I did move to Amarillo. Craziest thing ever! We found a place and got all moved up in ONE WEEK! Well, five days, but STILL!! ONE WEEK! I didn't know people could get moved that fast. ...and just as I thought would happen...it came about so fast I didn't even get to say goodbye to my friends. I'm sure they'll all beat the snot out me next time they see me. I know...shame on me. I feel terrible about it.

Anyway, we moved up at the end of August...about the 28th I think. It was so crazy fast. I admitt that I was really angry at first and this house is so different than what I'm used to. I've calmed down and such though. Settled in. It's really nice here. We are fortunate to be located within about 2 blocks of every store you'd ever need to visit. I swear if I threw a rock, I'd probably manage to hit one of them.

The people here seem friendly too. At least the ones I've talked to...which I'll admitt aren't many. The weather is wonderful too. My first thought as I climbed out of the car was, "Whoa! No humidity!". Of course it's all cold now. I wasn't prepared for winter...which is probably ironic since it's my name... We all had to get coats...real coats. Craziness! I need boots too...or something that's a little warmer than flip flops. I have shoes...but I want boots. Somehow it seems wrong to use shoes in cold weather, especially when you could be wearing boots.

Hmmm... I think that's all of the updates I have. Yes, I haven't exactly been keeping up with my DA stuff. Moving is fun and exciting, but it also tends to put me into a huge slump. I'm trying to get out of it.
