This picture is half inspired by this poem [link] and half inspired by memories of my childhood...before we moved to the land of extreme deathly heat and humidity. >< Anyway, the poem is really pretty. It sorta makes me imagine hundreds of magical winter sprites dancing around and filling the world with all that pretty white stuff. Drawn with pencil, inked with a cheap papermate pen, and colored with my colored pencils. :3 Finished: June 30, 2009 |
