What does love mean to me?
To me, love is what happens when two individuals grow together and become one.

Love is unity. It's when two people pull together despite their differences. It's when they grow together and stay together despite all the troubles that come their way. It's when they work together to reach for the stars. It's when they strengthen and support each other. It's when they care about eachother.

Several years ago I decided that I want to plant a tree when I get married. It will symbolize the love between me and my husband as we weather the years together. It will symbolize our growth as a couple and our growth as a family.

Made with colored printer paper and some ribbon. I stuck it all together with a healthy mixture of tape and glue.

Finished: July 13, 2009

it looks fantastic :) very clean, and refreshing

i like how instead of drawing a picture, you made it "kindergarden arts and crafts" style ^^; then again, i think kindergardeners might have a hard time making something like this.....

Thanks. :D The idea to do it arts and crafts style was actually inspired by another pic of mine where I had done the same thing. XD That pic only came to mind cause of the words "paper heart", and I'd made a heart out of paper in that pic.

:D Thanks. Like I told Shiezka, the idea to do it cut and paste was inspired by another pic of mine. :D
I dunno what to say. The question was enough to spark my interest in entering in the first place. I think it's a beautiful question, and it deserves an honest from the heart answer. :D

yea, it kinda reminds me of how swans touch beaks and it forms a heart with their necks. only with trees :)

no problem :heart: you have tons of pictures that not only look cool, but have actual meaning behind them :) which is totally awesome!

Lol! Yes, there can be an unhealthy mixture. It's mostly if you consume the two...but it can also be unhealthy if you can see a bunch of little pieces of tape sticking out...or if the glue shows through. :3 I'm so intelligent. XD JK
